TYGRIS Clear Polymer Chain Lubricant - R228
TYGRIS Clear Polymer Chain Lubricant is for use on chains and sprockets, pins and bushes where its anti-fling performance is important and where a clear invisible film is necessary for cosmetic reasons. It penetrates into the chain, depositing a film of extreme pressure additives and polymers which will withstand pressure washing.
Benefits:
Fortified with PTFE for improved load resistance;
Good thermal stability;
Extreme pressure additives;
Will not fling off; Extends chain life;
Resists and prevents corrosion;
Clean to use;
Penetrates deep into chain links;
Withstands pressure cleaning
Consult the safety data sheet prior to use - suitable Personal Protection Equipment should be worn. Shake can well. Spray onto surface from 10-20cm, allow a few seconds for the solvent to disperse and re-start machinery. Dispose of used aerosols in line with local and national regulations.
Appearance: Slightly amber high pressure spray drying to a thick sticky stringy polymer film
Odour: Oily solvent
Contents: Blend of refined mineral oils, tackifier, extreme pressure additives, polyisobutylenes, PTFE and hydrocarbon propellants. No silicones or chlorinated solvents
Flash point: <0c
Solubility: Insoluble in water
Temperature range: -50 to 150c continuous, 300c intermittent
Relative density: 0.780
Flammability: Extremely flammable
Storage: Below 50c
